Fall Portraits

As the trees begin to change and the weather begins to cool off, the fall months are among the most popular times for families, seniors, and children to be photographed. In northeast Ohio, we are surrounded by beautiful scenery in the autumn season, and at Visualizations Photography, we take full advantage of multiple locations for outdoor and on-location sessions. Seniors with outdoor outfits scheduled during their individualized senior session have images with the vibrant colors of fall.

The benefits of having a studio located in northeast Ohio are almost endless. Over the years, we have found all of the perfect places to photograph at in the area. Not only have we located them, but we have also photographed at them before and have found ideal spots within them to pose and photograph at. While we often go back to the same place for outdoor sessions, no two sessions ever look the same. We always make a conscious effort to not use the exact same angle or pose at one spot to ensure variety session to session. So, where are some of our favorite locations to shoot outdoor fall sessions at? Located throughout Cuyahoga Falls, Peninsula, Akron, and Munroe Falls, we utilize many types of architecture and natural elements in our portraits.

Cascade Locks in Akron near Northside provides a mixture of both architecture and fall backdrops, which are spread throughout both sides of the park. Trees dispersed throughout the park provide those vibrant fall colors you’re looking for in your portraits. An old town shop, a barn, and bridges also live throughout Cascade Locks and offer a nice contrast against the colors.

In Cuyahoga Falls, we have photographed many families at Keyser Barn, located just a few minutes up the road from our studio. While we have done full sessions at Keyser Barn, we usually photograph our mini sessions here. Similar to Cascade Locks, this location offers a mixture of architecture and fall backgrounds.

We have also utilized areas around Peninsula for family sessions, as well as Munroe Falls MetroPark. These locations also have a lot to offer for portraits, and the resulting images come out amazing!
